Venison Stew

Venison Stew

Mmmm…. This was so good on a cold wintery night! We got some fresh deer meat from a friend so I made some stew out of it. It’s really easy

1 lb Venison steak, cubed
1 sm-med yellow onion, diced
2 large tomatoes, cubed OR 1 can or organic, salt free tomatoes
3/4 cup of frozen corn
2 cans of white beans (I got organic white beans, no sodium or anything added)
6-8 cups of filtered water (depends on how watery you like your soups)
Sea salt and pepper to taste
Red Pepper flake to taste
1/4 tsp of tumeric
1/4 tsp of sage

Mix all ingredients in a big pot, let it cook on low heat for 3 hours, it’ll be done by the time you get home from work. Very good!
